VANCOUVER, October 9, 2020 – FactualWEST is back again for a fifth year with a virtual event based out of Vancouver, featuring speakers from high-profile shows to inspire and share their expertise with those working in factual, documentary and lifestyle television.
On November 6 and 7, 2020 event producer Field and Post will bring together top broadcasters, creators and producers for a group of online sessions including panels, interviews and masterclasses designed for those working in the unscripted television industry to increase their skills, learn practical tips and gain insights to move their careers and projects forward.
“FactualWEST offers incredible networking opportunities and I am thrilled that even though we are going virtual this year, our delegates will still be able to connect and share ideas” said Kate Green, Director of Programming for FactualWEST. “In fact, we are able to attract talent that normally wouldn’t be able to make it to Vancouver due to their shooting schedules, which means a very exciting schedule of programming.”
Some of the many notable conference speakers include Cian O’Cleary from Netflix’s “Love on the Spectrum”, the team behind CBC’s “The Oland Murder” and Jeff Orolowski from Netflix’s “The Social Dilemma.”
“I’m excited that we are going to be offering an incredible lineup with this year’s virtual conference and it’s all thanks to the support of our fantastic sponsors,” said John Ritchie, President of Field & Post Vancouver.
The event is made possible thanks to a variety of partners, sponsors and supporters including presenting partner: Creative BC; premium partners: Bell Fund and TELUS STORYHIVE; and Contributing Sponsors CMPA-BC and EOne.
FactualWEST will take place online on November 6 and 7 on the Hopin.to platform. Hopin is the world’s leading virtual event platform with multiple interactive areas that are optimized for connecting and engaging.
